Atlanta was on fire during ONE MusicFest 2014 held at Aaron’s Amphitheater @ Lakewood. Thousands from across the nation traveled to the South for a day of eclectic music from artists such as Alice Smith (whose voice is so powerful its unreal), soul singer Amel Larrieux (so soothing- go check out her song “For Real”), Jhene Aiko (I would describe her music as a gangsta Sade), Kendrick Lamar (the lyricist of our era), Nas (LEGEND), Bilal (I promise he has the sexiest singing voice I’ve ever heard), Daley (the perfect mood setter), Method Man and Redman (hype-est group EVER) in celebration of its 5th year anniversary.
ONE MusicFest is in a class of its own as it fuses genres like rock, alternative, soul and hip hop into one area filled with world renowed DJs, food trucks VIP tents and more.
Jhene Aiko is a new chart topper and she showed the audience just why! This wonderful songbird sings effortlessly and makes you feel every note that exits her mouth.
What do we say about Kendrick Lamar that has not been said? Because of him I personally believe there are REAL hip hop artists in this generation and he showed the OMF 2014 crowd a head banging time!
Nas, well who’s not a fan of this multi-platinum selling hip hop legend? He took to the stage in Atlanta and showed just why he is 20+ years strong in the game.
ONE MusicFest partnered with non-profit organization "Just Feed ONE" campaign in conjunction with BlackCelebrityGiving.com and I Care Atlanta. Attendees were encouraged to donate cans of food. Because of the participation the organization will service and feed over 80 shelters across Atlanta.
