Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar Has A Chilling New Fall/Winter Menu!

Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar is one of the cities greatest dining escapes. The 8,455 sq. ft interior grand lodge decor featuring cozy fireplaces and Aspen lodge chandeliers easily whisks you into the Rocky Wyoming Mountains of comfort. Always delivering a savory menu to couple with the season, the new Fall/Winter items are a sure delight. High stepping into the Addison location with my mother, I was ready for food overload.

My favorite server Tyler greeted us and started us(me) with the SIGNATURE SPIRITS

Each taking me into a different dimension. Flavorful and mastered perfectly, you’ll have to sip the Wild Berry Margarita.

Rum Barrel Punch: Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, Malibu Coconut Rum, pineapple, orange and pomegranate juice, housemade sweet and sour, sugarcane, Lahaina Dark Rum Float and pineapple.

Bourbon Berry Bang: Small Batch Bulleit Rye Whiskey, housemade sweet and sour, winter berry and cherry puree, ancho reyes, dash of bitters, soda water, served over ice

Wild Berry Margarita: Zarco gold margarita, winter berry and cherry puree and triple sec, served over ice.

We all live for a great pre snack that teases the taste buds! Sure enough these dishes get the job done! The Hatch Chile & Bacon Mac N’ Cheese *kisses fingers* deliver a sensory overload.

Hatch Chile & Bacon Mac N’ Cheese: Bacon, mild New Mexico Hatch Chiles & five cheeses layered with spiral pasta, topped with green onion crumble and cast iron baked

Caramelized Brussels Sprouts: Tossed with lemon, garlic, butter, capers & topped with romano cheese
Wok-Fired Calamari: Tender calamari strips tossed with sweet soy plum sauce, topped with peanuts, bell peppers, green onions and sesame seeds, served over steamed rice

Lamb Ragu with Noodles is a dish that I’ve never attempted however the tenderness of the lamb is simply unbelievable. All ingredients paired with the savory sauce lead to bliss. (At this point I feel the LAZY coming on.)

BBQ Bison Meatloaf: All-natural Durham Ranch grass-raised Wyoming Bison, seasoned with Worcestershire, fresh herbs, BBQ sauce, garlic, and onions, wrapped in bacon, cooked until golden brown, and served with housemade red skin potato mash, sautéed spinach, and crispy haystack onions
Lamb Ragu with Noodles: Hand-shredded house braised lamb, mushrooms, sweet peas, romano cheese and our red wine and thyme sauce with a dash of cream, served over noodles
Chicken Curry Bowl with Red-Hot Carrot Slaw – Spicy : Chicken and vegetable curry, slow-cooked and made from scratch, served over steamed white or brown rice with our fiery carrot slaw
Chicken Poblano: Boneless chicken breast, sweet white corn, peppers, onions in a roasted poblano cream sauce, with crispy corn cakes, micro cilantro and tapatio crema

Hands down the Simms Family S’more is the best piece of chocolate fudge and marshmallow combination EVER. Its just the right amount of sweet! The pumpkin cheesecake is light and airy but the whipped cream is what will send you into euphoria (BEST WHIPPED CREAM EVER!)

Simms Family S’more: Inspired by family time around the campfire, this house favorite is made with layers of rich chocolate fudge, graham cracker crust, peanut butter and warm brownie, topped with a giant fire roasted housemade marshmallow and crushed peanuts

Pumpkin Cheesecake: Baked with our graham cracker crust, served with chocolate sauce and topped with housemade caramel, candied walnut crumble and a dollop of whipped cream

Warm Apple Crumble: Made from scratch with warm cinnamon apples and our brown sugar oat crumble, baked until golden brown and served with a big scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.

For now you can only taste the tantalizing sensations in Addison. Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar will open its 2nd Texas location in Plano this November and Euless residents will also have a Wyoming getaway right in its backyard within the next few months.
