Set your DVR’s for tonights special event- “Smithsonian Salutes Ray Charles: In Performance at the White House”. President and Mrs. Obama will honor the legacy of iconic singer, songwriter, composer and musician Ray Charles during this entertaining broadcast that will air at 9pm on PBS stations and cable channel TV One.

Ray Charles is behind hits such as “Unchain My Heart,” “Hit the Road Jack,” and “Georgia on My Mind.” He will be honored with dynamic performances by Yolanda Adams, Andra Day, Anthony Hamilton, Demi Lovato (who killed Lionel Richie’s “Hello” on the Grammys), Jussie Smollet, Usher, The Band Perry and Ft.
